SHARKLETS: JUDGING THE SUBTLE DIFFERENCES
The 7 November 2024 update added Sharklet-equipped A320 and A321 variants alongside a wider set of fixes. It was more than a decorative wingtip on a static product. Equally, that report does not establish that every later family option existed on that date. A chronology should name the actual variants under discussion instead of projecting the present catalogue backwards. [35, 7 November 2024; A320/A321 Sharklets release]

A same-day user thread asked whether people could feel a handling difference. Some had barely had time to fly. One saw little obvious change; another, claiming real-world experience, described subtler flare differences. The credentials cannot be verified from a forum identity, and an impression is not a measured flight-model test. Nevertheless, the exchange shows attention moving from visible additions to small differences in feel. [37, 7 November 2024; contrasting first impressions]
Here a product-history illustration has a precise job. A dated wingtip view establishes what the release looked like. It cannot establish that the lift, drag or control response is correct; that requires suitable references and test conditions. The picture and the impression tell different parts of the story. Neither should be made to carry the other's evidence. [35]
