DEBRIEF THE RESULT AND CHOOSE THE NEXT EXERCISE
After parking, record a useful observation: the aircraft state, your selection and the result. A mode transition, late descent, runway change or difficult taxi turn can supply a focused practice objective. Include enough context to distinguish what the aircraft did from what you expected it to do.
Repeat the sector with a current plan and one deliberate change in the exercise: another approach method, a go-around, revised runway or different family member. Review the relevant preparation first and compare the outcome afterwards. Familiar surroundings leave more attention for the feature being tested.
The aim is a normal flight whose changes you can explain and whose unexpected results you can investigate. Continue the practice while the question remains useful, then give the aircraft a properly completed shutdown. Heathrow has received its visitors; now the coffee can have a turn.
