FIRST-NIGHT COMPLAINTS WERE OFTEN VERY SPECIFIC
The official MSFS forum did not contain a single chorus of approval. On 19 May, SuperSixBravo compared performance with the PMDG 737 while experimenting with display-rendering options. SkyVagrant4490 reported improvement after changing livery resolution and display quality. MetalPlains3097 objected to fonts and extensive weathering. These were different complaints: computing load, presentation accuracy and personal taste should not be bundled into one vague claim that the aircraft was bad. On 20 May the discussion widened to daily workflow. GigantPetz described the apparent time-acceleration limitation as a potential purchase barrier; StarDreller asked about saving and reloading a flight. Other owners reported pushback trouble and an aircraft that initially appeared powered before settling into cold and dark. Questions show what mattered to buyers. They do not by themselves establish a capability's definitive presence, absence or explanation. [19, 20 May 2022; posts 1834–1848]
An owner flying an uninterrupted short sector might tolerate a limitation that stopped somebody who needed to resume a flight later. Another could accept a worn cockpit but struggle with low frame rates. Reception is partly a meeting between product and use case. Understanding that use case is more informative than sorting contributors into supporters and detractors. [19, Time acceleration, save/reload, pushback and panel-state questions]
