PEDALS: CONNECTION COMES BEFORE THE BINDING
1. Identify how the pedals reach Windows. Some are USB devices; others connect through another controller. Thrustmaster explains that TFRP pedals connected by RJ12 appear as axes of their compatible host, rather than as a separate TFRP entry. Select that host when testing and assigning them. 2. For the T.RJ12 USB adapter, check its Flight Sim mode. Connect the pedals to the adapter, then the adapter to the PC. 3. Open joy.cpl, choose the detected device and test the axes before diagnosing a missing pedal entry in MSFS. These connection details apply to this hardware family, not every brand.
