THRUSTMASTER TCA: PREPARE THE HARDWARE AND SIMULATOR
1. Install the driver for the exact TCA product and test raw travel. 2. Select the quadrant in MSFS. Fenix lists engine 1 on L-Axis X and engine 2 on L-Axis Y; its current TCA article lists both ordinary numbered and 0-100% assignments. Choose one per engine, not both. 3. Remove throttle bindings from the sidestick slider and other devices. [69, Steps1-3: driver, Windows calibration and throttle axes]
4. Set the curve baseline before Fenix calibration. The TCA guide specifies zero for its listed curve settings and full reactivity. Its flap/spoiler example uses L-Axis Z and R-Axis Z respectively; verify these against the add-on fitted. 5. Calibrate in the aircraft only after these checks. [69, Steps4-6: add-on axes, sensitivity and Fenix calibration]
If the raw detent positions themselves are wrong, use the official Thrustmaster factory-calibration sheet for the quadrant. That hardware operation is distinct from teaching Fenix where your detents are. Use the sheet matching the product and add-ons, rather than borrowing a button sequence from another unit.
