21 OCTOBER 2026: V3 ARRIVES, AND VALUE BECOMES PART OF THE VERDICT
The official MSFS discussion dates V3’s public arrival to 21 October. mhron announced availability; TenPatrol supplied text of the large changelog. The change list covered systems, navigation, cabin electronics, engines, handling and the EFB. Such breadth offered existing owners reasons to return even if their usual route remained unchanged. It also raised expectations. Big improvements would be assessed through ordinary tasks: starting the aircraft, turning out of the stand, loading a route and flying a stable descent. At the research cutoff Fenix identified V3 as released for both the A320 Base Pack and A319/A321 Expansion. These pages discuss the first week, not a mature long-term verdict. Startup hotfixes and retests appeared within hours. A later revision should extend the account with subsequent evidence rather than rewrite the first days as if everyone already knew the outcome.
