USE THE INSTALLED V3 PROCEDURE BEFORE TICKING THE RESULT
1. Identify the condition
Read the actual warning, affected system and aircraft state. Do not select an engine-fire document merely because a training picture contains red text. Match the displayed problem to the procedure in the installed Documents application and the actual aircraft configuration. [117, EFB: dynamic QRH and failure-related documentation]

The V3 EFB home screen includes the Documents app alongside the performance and chart apps. [1, Presentation chapter: EFB]
2. Read the branches
The V3 QRH is interactive and can pin relevant procedures after a failure. That is useful navigation, but the condition still matters. Follow the applicable branch in the actual aircraft document, including any associated procedure and phase-dependent action. A pinned title is the beginning of selection, not evidence that every condition beneath it applies. [117, EFB: dynamic QRH and failure-related documentation]
3. Check the consequence
After the aircraft procedure, use the corresponding completion card in this book to review the remaining capability, performance and landing plan. Do not tick an item just because the warning disappeared. Check the system result that the item describes. [117, EFB: dynamic QRH and failure-related documentation]
4. Save the exercise record
PDF checkboxes store marks when the reader saves the file. In the native EFB package, normal cards use the normal-checklist format; abnormal completion cards use the eQRH-style checklist format. Neither format can decide whether the aircraft condition has actually been resolved. [144, Normal checklists; eQRH checklists; conditional steps]
