ACARS, LOADSHEETS AND LOADING RECONCILIATION

Contents

Company messages can deliver preliminary, final and revised-final loading information. Check flight identity and the actual figures before using a message. A received loadsheet becomes useful when its data have been reconciled with the loaded aircraft and the corresponding preparation. [54, PDF pp. 1-3] [54, PDF p. 4]

Compare actual loading, final ZFW/ZFWCG, fuel and MCDU entries and revisit takeoff performance when an input changes. If printing, use the supported printer setup and retain the relevant record with the sector. The paper trail should make discrepancies easier to resolve, especially when a later revision supersedes an earlier figure. [54, PDF p. 4] [64, PDF p. 4]

Keep company data and ATC clearances distinct. A company route, estimate or loading message supplies information for preparation and planning; it does not authorise the corresponding movement or flight-path change. Apply the clearance to the verified aircraft and plan.
